Attacks of anxiety, with pain in the region of the heart.
Excessive mirth with irresistible desire to sing.
Vertigo ; at night when waking, with nausea.
Congestion of blood to the head, with pressing, beating, and pulsation in the forehead, with redness of the face, anxious look, restless sleep, relieved in a horizontal position.
 Pressing headache in the (right) frontal eminence, from within to without, worse when sitting, when entering a warm room, after walking in the open air, when looking intensely at any thing ; better when lying on the back in a horizontal position.
Violent itching on the scalp.
Sensation as if the hair were standing on an end (on the vertex).
Pressing and stinging in the eyes.
On looking intensely on one spot lachrymation and he ache.
 Redness of the eyes with lachrymation and burning.
Pressing heaviness of the eyelids.
Suppuration of the external ear.
Hardness of bearing.
 Bleeding of the nose, especially when blowing it (at dinner).
Eruptions on the tip of the nose.
Pale face with sunken eyes.
Redness of the face with anxious expression of the countenance ; heat on one side of the face, renewed when thinking of it.
Swelling of the cheeks.
 Itching and stinging, on the cheeks.
Eruptions on the lips.
Tension in the articulation of the (left) jaw (when walking in the open air).
Swelling of the submaxillary glands with tension.
Mouth and Throat.
Mouth and tongue full of vesicles, with burning and stinging pains, on that account cannot eat any solid food.
 Weak voice.
Burning and stinging in the throat.
Tongue brown, dry.
The teeth feel dull and loose when masticating.
 Itching and stinging in the teeth.
Stomach and Abdomen.
Bitter taste, only in the throat.
Ravenous hunger ; unquenchable thirst.
Nausea with acidity in the mouth.
Vomiting after drinking milk.
 The pressure of tight clothes around the stomach is unbearable.
Stitches in the region of the stomach from the least pressure.
Swelling and inflammation of the (left) inguinal gland.
Rumbling in the abdomen, especially in the evening and in the morning.
Sensation as if the stomach were relaxed and not closed.
Stool and Anus.
 Stool hard, insufficient.
During stool tenesmus.
Itching, biting, and soreness at the anus, discharge of ascarides.
Incontinence of urine.
Frequent urging to urinate, with small discharges.
 Urine frothy ; sediment thick, grayish white or yellow.
Men. Hard swelling of the testicles and spermatic cord, with pressure.
Women. Menstruation too early and too profuse.
Before the menstruation, pain in the back ; later, palpitation of the heart.
Difficult respiration as from a plug in the larynx.
 Dyspnoea relieved by bending the body forward.
Wheezing, anxious breathing (inhalation), with violent laboring of the abdominal muscles.
Constrictive spasmodic pain through the chest and larynx.
Burning in the chest ; soreness in the chest.
Congestions in the chest from the least movement or excertion, with dyspnoea, nausea, and faintish weakness.
 Stinging and pressing pain in the praecordial region.
Sensitiveness of the larynx to the touch and when turning the neck.
Dry, hollow barking cough day and night.
Dry cough from burning-tickling in the larynx.
Cough day and night with burning in the chest, relieved by eating and drinking.
 Hoarseness with cough and coryza.
Weak voice, giving out when singing or talking.
Pressure in the larynx when singing.
Inflammation of the larynx, trachea, and bronchus.
Hooping-cough, deep, hollow, barking, caused by the sensation of a plug in the larynx, with expectoration only in the morning of small quantities of tough, yellow, hardened mucus, compelling one to swallow it again.
Aggravation of the cough in the evening till midnight ; from cold air ; from turning the head ; from exercise ; from lying low with the head ; from talking and singing.
Palpitation of the heart (before menstruation), with suffocation, violent gasping respiration, pain in the heart.
Rheumatic affections of the valves of the heart (fibrous deposit upon the valves).
 Violent palpitation of the heart, beats rapid (each beat was accompanied by a loud blowing, as of a bellows), awakens him after midnight, with a sense of suffocation, loud cough, great alarm, agitation, anxiety, and difficult respiration.
Back and Neck.
Painful stiffness of the muscles of the neck and throat.
Large goitre, with stinging, pressing and tingling pain.
Heaviness and trembling of the forearm and hands.
Swelling of the hands and stiffness of the fingers.
 Redness and swelling of the joints of the fingers, with tension on bending them.
Numbness of the tips of the fingers.
Large vesicles on the forearm.
Lower. Stiffness of the legs.
The thighs are spasmodically drawn forward or backward.
 Stiffness in the extremities.
Sensation of numbness in the lower part of the body.
The whole body feels heavy.
Sleeplessness, and when going to sleep delirium.
Awakens towards morning from a jerk upwards from the larynx, as if she would suffocate, must sit up, and raises sour, salty mucus.
 Pulse rapid, full and hard.
Chill with shaking, even near a warm stove, principally over the back.
Violent heat, soon after the chill, with dry, burning heat all over the body with the exception of the thighs ; they remain numb and chilly.
Attacks of flushes of heat.
Anxious heat, with red face and weeping, inconsolable mood.
 Cool perspiration on the face in the evening.
Morning sweat over the whole body.
Swelling and induration of the glands.
Red, itching blotches on the skin.
 Aggravation ; when ascending ; from smoking tobacco ; in the room.
Amelioration ; on descending.
All the symptoms, with the exception of those of the respiratory organs, are relieved when at rest and while lying in a horizontal position.
